Visit a secluded beach, only accessible by boat. Big Lagoon offers a tranquil escape into nature, where turquoise waters meet the red dirt of the Francois Peron National Park. Along the way, keep an eye out for sea birds, rays, sharks and turtles in their natural habitat.
Lunch time, we’ll anchor for a delicious BBQ lunch, giving you time to relax, swim, or simply take in the serenity of this World Heritage-listed wonder.

Itinerary
🕘 09:45 AM – Check-In & Boarding
Arrive at the departure point, Denham Jetty for check-in. Meet your friendly crew and receive a short safety briefing before leaving the jetty .
🛥️ 10:00 AM – Depart for Big Lagoon
Cruise through the stunning waters of Shark Bay, taking in the coastal scenery. Learn about the local area, ecology, and history from your knowledgeable crew.
🐬 Wildlife Spotting & Scenic Cruise
As we cruise from Denham to Big Lagoon, keep an eye out for sea birds, rays, turtles and sharks. The calm, clear waters are ideal for wildlife viewing and photography.

Anchor within Big Lagoon. Enjoy free time to swim, relax on the beach, or explore the area at your own pace.

Special requirements
All passengers must be over the age of 10 years and must possess a reasonable level of mobility. Norwest Lady is a jet boat and can we quite loud when travelling.

By joining this tour, guests agree to the following conditions:
• Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for the care of their own personal belongings. We recommend securing valuables in waterproof bags and keeping electronic items protected at all times. The operator accepts no liability for lost or damaged items.
• Mobility Requirements: A reasonable level of mobility is required. Participants must be able to step on and off the vessel independently and may be required to walk short distances over uneven surfaces or through shallow water, depending on tidal conditions.
• Water Entry: Access to Big Lagoon may involve wading through ankle to knee-deep water. Appropriate clothing is recommended.
• Weather Conditions: Please remember, we are unable to control the weather. This tour is subject to weather and sea conditions. The operator reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel the tour in the interest of safety. In the event of cancellation due to weather, guests will be offered an alternative date or a refund. We will still run the tour on windy, overcast or rainy days if safe to do so. All tours are at the discretion of the skipper.
• Onboard Conduct: For the safety and enjoyment of all passengers, guests are expected to act responsibly and follow crew instructions at all times while on the vessel. Alcohol consumption is permitted but must be done respectfully and responsibly. The crew reserve the right to cut of any alcohol consumption and detain any alcohol brought on board until after the tour.

You should have a reasonable level of mobility. Boarding the vessel requires a step or two, and accessing the beach may involve walking through ankle to knee-deep water.

The tour is weather-dependent. If conditions are adverse, we may modify the itinerary, delay departure, or cancel the tour. In the event of cancellation, you’ll be offered an alternative date or a full refund. We will still run the tour on windy, overcast and rainy days, the operation of the tour is at the skippers discretion.

Yes, children over the age of 10 welcome, but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Please note that the tour may not be suitable for all children, Norwest Lady is a jet boat. Whilst travelling it can be quite loud and over stimulating for some children, whilst we do have a pull out shade on the back deck of the boat we are only able to use this whilst anchored.

Yes, there is a marine toilet onboard for passenger use.

We do our best to cater to dietary needs, being in a remote area we are only able to procurer certain ingredients. We can offer options for vegetarian and gluten free diets. Please notify us at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements for your BBQ lunch.

BYO alcohol is permitted. All responsible service of alcohol (RSA) rules still apply with BYO and alcohol consumption on board, we ask that you please consume responsibly.
